General
OptoSci's range of microprocessor controlled laser driver modules provides a versatile and user friendly platform for stable current and TEC control of laser diodes, SOAs, SLDs, pump lasers etc. The units offer easy device integration, full PC control and monitoring, or set & forget operation utilising the on-board EPROM.

Standard Features

  • Compact and versatile driver modules for device current and thermo-electric control (TEC)
  • Integrated heatsink with demountable14-pin Butterfly connectors for easy device connection or changeover
  • User reconfigurable pin connections to suit various device pin out arrangements
  • Microcontroller operation allows remote setting of device drive parameters and eliminates the problems associated with manual setting of analogue potentiometers
  • OEM options available. Contact OptoSci to discuss your requirements
  • Comprehensive driver software (V-DRIVE) supplied for full PC control & monitoring of device. Optional V-DRIVE add-on for monitoring of up to 5 units simultaneously via USB interface
  • Continuous traces of the device drive parameters (power, current, forward voltage and temperature) are available on-screen
  • Eurocard modules include power supply, USB interface & PC communications cable, ZIF mount & heatsink for 14-pin butterfly package, and full driver software for easy operation straight out of the box.
  • Device settings can can be saved to driver EPROM for set & forget operation with no need for connection to a PC.
